<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Vestland Canoe Rental is located in the heart of the scenic Fjorda area in Hadeland. Fjorda consists of several small and large lakes connected by straits and natural channels. This is one of the most popular areas in Eastern Norway for canoeing. Vestland Canoe Rental is situated at the northern end of Saltbufjorden. Saltbufjorden lies in the middle of Fjorda and has been the most popular area in Fjorda since the early 1970s. Canoe rentals began at Vestland in 1995. In addition to canoes and rowboats, we also have a small kiosk selling ice cream, soft drinks, and some fishing gear.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">We also have two cabins for rent. The cabins are of simple standard, with electricity, no running water, and an outhouse. The small cabin includes one canoe, and the larger cabin includes two canoes. If you're interested in renting or want more information, call 90101071.</p>

<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;"><strong>Personal Data</strong> To use the online booking service, you must provide your name, address, telephone number, and email. To register an order, it is also necessary to store information about the rental time and the type of equipment that is reserved/ordered. There is an 18-year age limit for using the service, so you must also provide your birth year. When utilizing the service, your order history is stored. This personal data is used to deliver the service to you. The personal data is retained as long as you remain registered as a user with us. The personal data we have recorded is accessible and can be modified on your account page. You can also contact us to request that we remove your personal data or deregister you from our systems. In such cases, you will no longer be able to use the service unless you register again.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;"><strong>Personal Data to Third Parties</strong> Vestland Kanoutleie will not sell, trade, or disclose your personal data to any third party. The online booking is managed in a system provided by Sharefox.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;"><strong>Payment Information</strong> When you place an order, your card information is stored by the payment provider to secure your order. The payment provider retains the information in a secure and proper manner and is PCI certified. This enables us to handle order modifications, cancellation of reservations (including deposits), crediting, additional incurred costs from the user (in cases such as late return, damage, or similar), as well as to reduce misuse and losses. Transaction details are stored in relation to your order, but not the card details. Transaction information will be stored as long as you remain registered as a user of the service, in accordance with the personal data section.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;"><strong>Use of Collected Information</strong> The personal data collected for these purposes includes both information you provide yourself (such as your name, email address, etc.) and information gathered through the use of the service, such as the equipment you rent and data regarding your location and technical information about your device and internet connection. The personal data may also be supplemented with available information from third-party sources.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;"><strong>Cookies</strong> When you visit our service, we use various technologies to recognize you as a user and to collect data. <li><strong>Lessor</strong>: Vestland Canoe Rental AS, Org nr. 820351002 MVA, Tel: +47 90 10 10 71.</li>
<li><strong>Delivery of rental items:</strong> Items are handed out by one of Vestland Canoe Rental representatives at site. Includes canoe/boat/sup/packraft with accessories and approved life jacket/buoyancy aid. If the renter uses their own vest, it must be approved. Any complaints must be made at the start of the rental period.</li>
<li><strong>Return:</strong> Rental items are to be returned to the rental location. Paddles and vests should be placed in the canoe. Inform us of the return.</li>
<li><strong>Booking, payment, and VAT:</strong> An order confirmation is sent by email after booking. Payment is made via Visa or Mastercard. All prices include VAT.</li>
<li><strong>Cancellation and refund policy:</strong> In case of no-show, the full amount is retained. Cancellations later than 48 hours before arrival are refunded 50% of the amount. Cancellations before 48 hours give a 90% refund. The &ldquo;Angrerettloven&raquo; does not apply to services related to leisure activities when a specific time period is stipulated in the contract.</li>
<li><strong>Usage:</strong> Rental objects should only be used as canoes/boats and not overloaded (boat max 360 kg, canoe max 350 kg). Do not sit or step on&nbsp; the crossbars. Life jackets must be worn and fastened correctly.</li>
<li><strong>Liability:</strong> The lessee is fully and legally responsible for the canoe/boat and its equipment. Any loss or damage, except for normal wear and tear, must be compensated.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />The lessee may not sell, sublease, pledge, or otherwise dispose of the rented items.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />The rental period is calculated from the time the equipment is agreed to be rented out until the agreed time of return.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />The lessee must be at least 18 years of age to rent a canoe/boat.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />The lessor is responsible for cleaning the canoe/boat and other equipment.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />If one person rents multiple canoes/boats on behalf of a group, the legal responsibility rests with the lessee to ensure that all other members of the group are informed about the contents of this agreement. It is particularly important that the lessee informs group members about load limits, safety measures, and the proper use of safety equipment. <strong>A life jacket/personal flotation device must always be properly fastened with straps and closures and must be worn at all times while in the canoe or boat.</strong><br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />The lessor specifically informs the lessee that no personal injury, accident insurance, or similar insurance has been taken out to cover the rental. The lessee is responsible for arranging any travel or leisure insurance if deemed necessary.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />The lessor cannot be held legally or financially liable for any injury to persons and/or damage to property caused by or through the use of the canoe/boat and/or equipment.</li>
<li><strong>Special provisions:</strong> <span style="color: #ff0000;">Cutting/damaging trees is prohibited. Do not burn garbage, bring all garbage back with you.</span></li>
<li><strong>Jurisdiction:</strong> Disputes are handled in the lessor's jurisdiction.</li>
<li><strong>Changes to the agreement:</strong> Terms may be changed at any time. Significant changes will be notified 30 days before coming into effect on the website. Use of the service after changes means acceptance.</li>
